Life at LUDO

A house that wakes up early and lives until late.

The day at LUDO begins while Frederiksberg is still sleeping.
The lights are turned on in the bakery, the ovens are warming up, and the bakers start making the first breads of the day: croissants and viennoiseries. The aroma of freshly baked sourdough spreads slowly through the house.

Shortly after, the morning team arrives. The coffee machine gets hot, the counter is filled with the day’s pastries, and the first guests arrive. Some pick up their breakfast through the hatch on their way to work. Others stay a little longer, enjoying a good cup of coffee and finding a place at one of the tables.

Soon the morning service will begin. Freshly brewed coffee, delicious breakfasts, warm croissants and bread straight from the bakery. Good morning is said, served at the tables and welcomed by both the regulars and those who visit us for the first time.

As the morning progresses into lunch, the pace of the house changes quietly. In the kitchen, the final details are being prepared, the tables are set, and the first lunch guests of the day make their way in. There is life around the counter, waiters between the tables, and chefs working with the seasonal ingredients.

In the afternoon, a bit more calm descends over the house. Some meet over a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, others enjoy a glass of wine or a spritz. At the same time, preparations for the evening begin. New dishes take shape in the kitchen, the wines are prepared, and the tables are set again.

As the evening approaches, the atmosphere changes. The lights get warmer, the glasses fill up, and the restaurant is filled with conversations. The guests gather around good food, carefully selected wines, and experiences that are happy to last a little longer than planned.

In the wine bar, the evening continues with great bottles of wine, small dishes, and pleasant moments. On other evenings, it serves as the setting for private dinners and special events.

And when the last guests have left and the last glass has been polished, peace returns to LUDO.

Behind every day stands a team of bakers, chefs, waiters, baristas and wine experts. Different people with different talents who all contribute to the same experience.
For LUDO is not just about good food and drink. It is about craftsmanship, hospitality, collaboration, and the joy of creating something together.

And tomorrow it all starts again.
