What personal data we collect, why, and for how long we store it.
01Who is responsible
The data controller is Ludo Copenhagen ApS, Frederiksberg Allé 11, st.tv, 1621 Copenhagen V, Denmark, CVR DK46774337.
The restaurant, bakery and wine bar are located at Gammel Kongevej 107, 1850 Frederiksberg. That is where you will find us. The registered address of the company is Frederiksberg Allé above.
A phone number and an email address are not published on this website. If you wish to exercise a right under this policy, please write to the company address or use the contact details provided in a message you have already received from us.
02Visit the website
When you open a page, the server receives the technical information that a website normally receives: your IP address, the browser and device you use, the page you requested, and the time. We use it to display the page and to protect the site.
We do not use it to build a profile of you. This website does not run a statistics or advertising service.
03Newsletter and Friends & Family
When you sign up, you give us your email address and confirm what you want: the newsletter, a message when Friends & Family opens, or both. The form sends the request from your browser to Klaviyo, Inc., which stores the address and sends the emails for us. Klaviyo is a company based in the USA. Transfers from the EU are done with the guarantees set out in Klaviyo’s privacy policy.
The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) of the Data Protection Regulation. You can withdraw it via the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us. We will keep your registration until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. A withdrawn consent does not affect emails that have already been sent.
04Table reservations
A table reservation is made in a window from Fresto (shop.fresto.io). Fresto receives what you enter there, such as name, email, phone number, and number of guests. LUDO receives the reservation so that we can reserve the table. Fresto’s own privacy policy applies to their service.
Where LUDO is responsible for the reservation, the legal basis is the steps you have asked us to take before a visit, Article 6(1)(b) of the Data Protection Regulation. We store the reservation until the visit. If it creates a payment receipt, we store it for five years from the end of the accounting year, where the accounting law applies.
05Gift card
Gift cards are purchased in a Fresto window on this website. Fresto receives the purchase details and payment. We do not store your card number. LUDO receives the information we need to issue and redeem the card.
The legal basis is the agreement on the delivery of the card, Article 6(1)(b) of the Data Protection Regulation, and the obligation to keep accounting records where this applies, Article 6(1)(c). Where the bookkeeping law applies, we store the attachment for five years from the end of the accounting year.
This website does not sell food, wine or other goods for delivery or pickup.
06Job applications
The application forms on this website check that the fields are filled in and then show a thank you message. They do not send the application and do not upload or save your CV. If you want to apply, use the contact information provided for the position or write to the company address.
If you send us an application by another means, we will only use it to assess you for employment. We will delete it six months after the position is filled or closed, unless the law requires us to keep it or you agree that we may keep it for a later position.
07Cookies
This website does not display a cookie banner, and the footer does not open a panel for cookie settings. What can be stored in your browser is described in Cookie policy.
08How long we store information
The table collects the periods from the sections above. Server logs are stored for as long as the provider stores them. We do not maintain a marketing archive of these logs.
09Who else receives the information
Klaviyo receives signups for newsletters and Friends & Family, as described above. Fresto receives what you enter in a booking or gift card window.
We do not sell personal data. We disclose it when the law requires it, for example to tax authorities for accounting material we store.
10Your rights
You can request access to the personal data we hold about you and you can ask us to correct, delete or restrict the use of that data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and you can request a copy in a portable format where applicable. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
